FAQs ON FARMERS CLUB

 What is Farmers Club?
  • Farmers Club is a special SIM that we’ve designed specifically to help farmers, because we believe that farming is the backbone of Ghana’s economy.
  • All you have to do is pay just 2 cedis a month, using regular credit, and we will give you 2 different packages.
  • The first one is information. We will give you all the information that you need to make sure that your farming is profitable. We will tell you when it’s going to rain, when to plant and apply fertilizer, what to do when there are diseases for your crops in your area, and how much to sell your crops for.
  • The second one is calls. You can call anybody who has a Farmers' Club SIM for free, and you can call everybody else for far less than on any other network. We will also give you a special number that you can call for free, so that if you ever have any questions or problems with your farm, they will help you for free.
  • The 2 cedis is not automatic. You only pay it when you are ready, and then you get the 2 packages for 30 days. If you don’t pay the 2 cedis we will still give you cheap calls, cheaper than other networks but not as cheap as when you pay the 2 cedis.
  • Because we want to make sure you try it, we will give you the first month for free so you can try it. Just pay 2 cedis for the SIM. After 30 days, if you like it, then you can pay another 2 cedis for another 30 days. If not, you will still be making cheaper calls.

2. Can anybody get Farmers Club?
No. Vodafone Farmers Club is only for farmers and people in the farming ecosystem, like marketwomen and input dealers.

3. Where to get a SIM?
You have to go to a local Vodafone Farmers Club agent. Look out for them wearing the red Farmers Club shirts. You can also buy it from a Farmers Club input dealer or community shop. You can recognise them by the Farmers Club posters and signs. Where are you located? I can help you to find one. [Check locations list for closest community shop or input dealer].

4. How do I pay the 2 cedis?

Yes, at regular international rates.

8. Can you use other Vodafone packages (e.g. 1 Ghana, RED, 2 Ghana, Vodafone X, Supreme Offer etc) with this?
