SHAKE Feature - My Vodafone App

Shake is the all new exciting feature in the My Vodafone App, that allows Vodafone X customers to purchase bundles. Additionally, all Vodafone subscribers are eligible to use Shake. All subscribers are eligible for free 1GB on the Shake, however, only X subscribers can buy their bundles through Shake. 

Here's how to go about it. 
  1. Successfully register on my Vodafone app
  2. Navigate to “shake on Vodafone X”
  3. 1st shake experience
  4. Select a bundle
  5. 2nd shake experience to confirm bundle purchase
  6. Bundle purchase notification

Special vodafone x bundles
  • These bundles are only available on Shake on My Vodafone App
  • The bundles are not auto-renewable.
  • The Special bundles will be revised per our discretion as and when we deem fit.
  • There’s a Free 1GB data for Subscribers who go on My Vodafone App to try Shake.
  • The Free 1GB data is valid for 24 hours
  • Each Subscriber can redeem the 1GB only once
  • All bonus “Xtra”data allocated per offer will assume the validity of the X bundle being purchased.  i.e bonus on weekly bundles will be for 7 days. Bonus on Monthly bundles will be for 30 days 
Triple X-TREME Plus
 
This offer allows you to enjoy free community calls, free on-net SMS, 2.5GB for Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, and 4GB data. Double bonus on all top ups  plus 13GB data bonus
  • This offer lasts for 30 days.
  • The cost of subscribing for the offer is GHC35.
  • You can only sign up for this offer through “shake” on My Vodafone app. Select triple Xtreme Plus and shake your phone to confirm, the GHC35 registration fee is automatically deducted from your primary credit balance and you will immediately have access to the offer for 30 days. You must have a credit balance of GHC 35 or above in your primary account before you can register for this offer.
  • This offer is not auto renewable.ie. you can enjoy the additional 13gb bonus one time. However, your Xtreme plus bundle will auto renew.
  • After successful registration, you will receive a message welcoming you to the offer as well as confirming the exact offer benefits and the duration of the offer.
  • On the midnight of the 30th day you will lose all the unused allocations. You can only continue to enjoy these allocations when you renew the offer.
  • If any of the allocated minutes are exhausted before the end of the 30 days, you can still call Vodafone and other networks at a rate of 26p/min for the rest of the period. IDD calls can also be made at standard rates
  • If you use all the free data allocation before the end of the 30 days, you can still browse for the rest of the period at   standard PAYG rates.
  • If you use all the free SMS allocation before the end of the 30 days, you can still text for the rest of the period at standard rates.
  • Alternatively, you can purchase stand-alone packages until the offer expires
  • By making sure that your credit balance in your primary account is equal to or above GHC35 on the midnight of the 30th day, your offer will be automatically renewed without the 13gb bonus. You will receive a message confirming renewal of the offer.
  • If you do not have up to GHC35 on the midnight of the 30th day, your account on the offer will be suspended for 60 days; a period in which you would be charged the standard network tariff fee. When you top-up up to the value of GHC35 or above within the 60 day period, the offer will be automatically renewed. After 60 days, you will be completely deregistered from the offer and you will have to register again if you want to continue to enjoy the offer.
On the 25th day after subscribing to the offer, an SMS will be sent to you that the 30-day offer is about to end. You may be encouraged to register for other attractive value offers or to renew your current offer.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
All new and existing subscribers shall, in using the Service, be deemed to have consented and agreed to receive such Service on these Terms and Conditions and are  accordingly bound. These Terms and Conditions can be found on our Vodafone website (www.vodafoneX.zone ), at authorized retail shops and accredited agencies or institutions.
 
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to specific terms and conditions for each product under Vodafone X, as well as standard terms and conditions for Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited mobile services which could be found on our website. (www.vodafoneX.zone )
 
 
Use of the Service
We reserve the right to issue instructions regarding use of the Service as it may from time to time be   considered necessary to maintain the integrity, quality and safety of the Service for all Subscribers and such instruction shall be binding upon the Subscriber and be deemed to form an integral part of the Service.
The Subscriber is personally responsible for all use of the Service made from Subscriber equipment and shall neither use nor permit a third party to use Subscriber equipment, or the Service for:
  1. sending abusive, defamatory, hoax, offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing messages or communications; or
  2. eavesdropping, intercepting or learning the contents of any message on another person’s device on the Vodafone network; or
  3. any usage that may cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to any person.
The Subscriber shall not use the Service in a way that infringes on the privacy rights of any other person or with another Subscriber’s enjoyment of any Vodafone Services, or in a way that could interfere with Vodafone network or any other operator’s network.
 
Definitions
“Stand Alone Packages” mean the other services of Vodafone Ghana apart from Vodafone X
"the Subscriber" shall mean the person who uses the Vodafone X Service.
“We/Us/Our” means   Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited (Vodafone Ghana)
“You” refer to the Subscriber.
 
 
 
General Terms and Conditions
 
  1. This Service is for Prepaid Mobile Subscribers only.
  2. This Service is for personal use and not for business.
  3. We reserve the right to send information to you via SMS to the MSISDN supplied by us. These SMS’ may be for information purposes only. We may also send notices to you by way of advertisement in a daily newspaper, SMS, or through the Vodafone Website and/or by using any other suitable means.
  4. You accept that we may disclose or receive personal information or documents about you:-
    • to and from local and international law enforcement or any competent regulatory or governmental agencies to assist in the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal activities or fraud;
    • to and from our service providers or any other company that may be or become our subsidiary, parent company or partner) for reasonable commercial purposes connected to your use of the mobile service or the Vodafone Service, such as marketing and research related purposes;
    • to facilitate our ability to fulfil legal, governmental or regulatory requirements;
xvi       We reserve the right to vary at any time with or without notice to you these Terms and Conditions or the Fees. Variations will be notified by way of advertisement in a daily newspaper, SMS, or through our Website and or by using any other suitable means provided that you shall be deemed to have been notified of any such variations regardless that the same may not have actually come to your attention. Any variation in fees shall become effective after 7 days of such publication or notice.
Xvii     By partaking in any activity organized by Vodafone X, you agree that we reserve the right to use your image, video footage and any other information captured at the said event for our publications in print, online, TV, etc.
